LHANC provides seniors with nutritionally balanced meals to help maintain or improve their nutrition status, which in turn will improve or maintain their health status and ability to remain living at home. All menus are prepared under the supervision of a registered, licensed dietitian.
Congregate Meals Service -- Served at Senior Centers throughout Miami-Dade county for the 33 past years, nutritious meals are provided to about 1,750 unduplicated seniors every week day. These meals are designed to provide 1/3 of an elderly person's daily nutritional needs.
In addition to receiving congregate meals, seniors who attend the senior centers have many other services at their disposal. These services include transportation to and from the center, recreation activities such as arts and crafts and music appreciation, dominoes, bingo, and other group table games. Seniors in attendance are also offered exercise instruction provided by certified exercise trainers and with a program specific to the needs and abilities of seniors. LHANC provides congregate meals services at all of their centers.

Social Services
LHANC provides several essential health services to seniors in the community who are eligible for services through Medicare Fee for Service, Medicaid, and HMO's or private insurance which include:
- Pro-Salud Primary Health: Established in 1992, this center provides services offered by a physician, a physician assistant and several other health care professionals to provide primary medical care to seniors in need. In addition to basic medical care, services include:
- Health screenings,
- Physical exams
- Immunizations
- EKGs
- Pap smears
- X-rays
- Various therapy services
- Referrals to specialists
For uninsured low-income clients LHANC can provide the above services through a sliding scale fee.

Transportation
In addition, to all of our other services, we offer Child care services in two locations one in Little Havana and the other in Miami Beach where parents will find a safe, professional, loving, and culturally sensitive environment for children while they become better informed on issues relative to child rearing.
Rainbow Child Care Services are offered to children between the ages of 0 through 5. This program is offered on a sliding scale fee and subsided services are also available.

Meals Services
Home Health Agency
LHANC provides seniors pick up and drop off services to and from their home.. Transportation is also used to take seniors on field trips and special events.
We provide these transportation services at all of our 12 centers throughout the Miami-Dade County area. Participants must live within the boundaries of the center they attend in order to qualify for transportation.

"Forever Home" - Long Term Care Services provides frail, nursing home-eligible elderly persons with the necessary assistance in order for them to remain living at home and to prevent early nursing home placement.
This program began in 2004 and currently serves over (2,000) clients. It is designed for seniors age 65+ who need assistance with at least three of their Activities of Daily Living (ADL), or who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia-related illnesses.
Services include: Home delivered meals, homemaker services, sitters, personal care assistance, skilled nursing, consumable and durable medical equipment, chore assistance, environmental modifications, and dental and hearing care.
