Adult Day Health Care services are available to seniors aged 60 or older. ADHC services are available through a multitude of funding sources including Evercare, Channeling Project, and private pay.

Social services are available to seniors aged 60 or older and who are registered at LHANC. Eligibility is further using the screening tool provided by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. This program has no income requirement for participation and is regulated by the Older Americans Act.

In addition, to all of our other services, we offer Child care services in two locations one in Little Havana and the other in Miami Beach where parents will find a safe, professional, loving, and culturally sensitive environment for children while they become better informed on issues relative to child rearing.
Rainbow Child Care Services are offered to children between the ages of 0 through 5. This program is offered on a sliding scale fee and subsided services are also available.

All services offered by LHANC have specific eligibility requirements in order for individuals to access them. You must contact each individual program staff in order to determine eligibility for the service requested. All clients must be registered to receive any of the services requested. For LHANC registration, please contact (305) 858-0887 and specify which program you would like to register for.
LHANC provides an option of hot or frozen nutritionally balanced home delivered meals to seniors to help maintain or improve their nutrition status, which in turn will improve or maintain their health status and ability to remain living at home. All menus are prepared under the supervision of a registered, licensed dietitian. These meals are designed to provide 1/3 of the elderly person's daily nutritional needs. Hot meals are delivered on a daily basis 5 days a week, and frozen meals are delivered once a week for 5 days worth of meals.
Home Delivered Meals are available to frail homebound elderly persons 60 years of age or older or disabled adults who are registered at LHANC. Eligibility is based on the individual requesting the service being homebound. Eligibility is further determined using the screening tool provided by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. This program has no income requirement for participation and is regulated by the Older Americans Act.

Nutritious Congregate meals have been served by LHANC throughout Miami-Dade county for the past 44 years. Meals are provided to approximately 1,750 unduplicated seniors daily. These meals are designed to provide 1/3 of the elderly person's daily nutritional needs.
In addition to receiving congregate meals, seniors who attend the senior centers have many other services at their disposal. These services include transportation to and from the center, recreation activities such as arts and crafts, music appreciation, dominoes, bingo, and other group table games. Seniors in attendance are also offered exercise instruction provided by certified exercise trainers and with a program specific to the needs and abilities of seniors. Eligibility is further determined using thee screening tool provided by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. This program has no income requirement for participation and is governed by the Older Americans Act.

LHANC's Home Health Agency is licensed by the State of Florida and Medicare/Medicaid certified. The HHA is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare..
LHANC's Home Health Agency provides personal care services, skilled nursing care, and homemaking services, as prescribed by a physician to eligible home-bound individuals in the community.
