Home Delivered Meals

LHANC provides an option for hot or frozen nutritionally balanced Home Delivered Meals to seniors to help maintain or improve their nutrition status, which in turn will improve or maintain their health status and ability to remain living at home. All menus are prepared under the supervision or a registered, licensed dietician.

These meals are designed to provide 1/3 of an elderly person's daily nutritional needs. Hot meals are delivered on a daily basis 5 days a week, and frozen meals are delivered once a week for 5 days worth of meals.

Home Delivered Meals are available to frail homebound elderly persons 60 years of age or older or disabled adults who are registered with LHANC. Eligibility is based on the individual requesting the service being homebound and is further determined using the screening tool provided by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. This program has no income requirement for participation.
